UCLA defensive back Ishmael Adams has been suspended indefinitely. Coach Jim Mora announced, “As facts become available, we’ll make our decision as we go.”
Monday, Baller Alert reported Ishmael Adams was arrested Sunday for allegedly stealing an Uber driver’s cell phone (Click here if you missed it). Adams was released Tuesday on $100,000 bond and is due back in court September 22.
“Obviously, I can’t get into any particulars because it is a pending legal issue,” said coach Mora. “But as a football coach, as a parent, you hate to see young men get themselves into bad situations. I take it very seriously and I take it very personally as well.”
While no immediate details have been released, it’s obvious the team is taking precautionary measures.
