United Passenger Dies After Denying He Had Coronavirus Symptoms

Last Monday, a passenger aboard a United plane was pronounced dead shortly after the pilot made an emergency landing. It’s suspected the man had COVID-19.

TMZ reports that the man began shaking and swearing on the crowded flight from Orlando to Los Angeles. The man’s health rapidly deteriorated during the flight. The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in New Orleans, where paramedics worked on him. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

A spokesperson for United told TMZ that the passenger stated he did not have the virus or any related symptoms. However, the man’s wife was overheard, saying he was displaying coronavirus symptoms, including loss of taste and smell. Now the CDC is tasked with contacting all of the other passengers onboard the flight.
