Once it’s on the web, it’s there forever. Ghislaine Maxwell will learn this the hard way.
Among other unsealed court documents released Thursday night was a January 25, 2015 email composed by Jeffrey Epstein to his alleged madam Maxwell in which he told her she had “done nothing wrong” and urged her to “start acting like it.”
“Go outside, head high, not as an escaping [sic] convict,” he added. “Go to parties. deal with it.”
The email was in response to a previous email sent by Maxwell the day before when she requested that a woman by the name of “Shelly” come forward to say she was Epstein’s girlfriend at a point in time. “I think she was from end 99 to 2002,” she said, to which Epstein replied that the move was ok with him.
Prior to this exchange was an email from Epstein appearing to coach Maxwell on what to say to prove her innocence in his 2007 sex crime charges in Florida.
“Since JE was charged in 2007 for solicitation of a prostitute, I have been the target of outright lies, innuendo, slander, defamation, gossip…,” the statement begins.
“I have never been party to any criminal activity pertaining to JE,” it states.
Epstein continued- as if Maxwell wrote it herself, suggesting she say that she was “in a very long-term committed relationship with another man and no longer working with Jeffrey.”
“Whilst I remained on friendly terms with him up until his plea, I have had limited contact since.” It concludes with a threat that Maxwell reserves her own rights to “file complaint and sue for defamation and slander.”
According to the New York Post, the cache of released documents also included flight logs from Epstein’s private jet, police reports from Palm Beach, Florida, where he had a home and a slew of other records.
The documents are tied to a defamation lawsuit brought on by the British socialite after she claimed Giuffre made up the allegations against her and her multi-millionaire pedophile friend Epstein.
Maxwell’s case is now heating up after she was busted July 2 on a six-count indictment charging her with recruiting and grooming minor girls to be sexually abused by her and Epstein from 1994 to 1997. She is also charged with committing perjury for lying under oath about her involvement.
A judge denied bond after she was deemed a flight risk. She has pleaded not guilty and will await her 2021 trial from a Brooklyn jail.
In an attempt to get bail, Maxwell’s defense team says she had no contact with the late Epstein for over a decade.
May we continue to believe all darkness will come to light.
