A U.S. Navy sailor faces second-degree murder charges after catching his wife during a love affair. Apparently, he walked in on them having sex in their Virginia home and gunned them down.
Tyler L. Jenkins, 26, was taken into custody Friday, March 11, after shooting Timothy Paul Talley II multiple times. Talley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jenkins’ wife told cops that her husband walked in on her and Talley engaged in sexual activity. That’s what made Jenkins open fire on her boyfriend. The “domestic-related shooting” caused Jenkins’ arrest.
Though he admitted to shooting Talley three times, he believes that his response to walking in on his wife was standard, saying, “What am I doing wrong?”
Jenkins was employed with the U.S. Navy since 2014. He remains without bond and was denied a public defender due to his income.
Tyler L. Jenkins will appear in court on May 12.
