On Monday, Usher’s accuser, Quantasia Sharpton, stood with attorney, Lisa Bloom, to disclose the details of her lawsuit against the singer. Apparently, for her 19th birthday, Sharpton was gifted tickets to see Usher in concert. While there, she said she was picked out of the crowd and contacted by Usher’s security.
According to Sharpton, the singer arrived at her hotel room and the two engaged in sexual contact. However, Usher did not disclose that he was infected with genital herpes. Although Sharpton has since been tested negative for the STD, she says still feels violated by the singer.
As a result, Bloom will be filing a lawsuit on behalf of the accusers, who all claim they have been intimate with the singer since his alleged diagnosis. In addition, she has revealed that one of the anonymous accusers, either the man or the woman, has tested positive for the STD. However, it remains unclear if Usher has herpes, but Bloom says there are media reports saying that he does and the singer has yet to refute the claims.
Bloom says she has been contacted by several others and may file lawsuits on their behalf as well. But, in the meantime, he wants a court order to force Usher to reveal his health status to his future sex partners.
