Usher is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the Los Angeles thievery. However, it was his estranged wife, Grace Miguel, that reported the crime to the police. ⠀
According to a police report obtained by the @blast, the singer’s housekeeper informed Miguel of the break-in on March 29, after she “discovered a footprint on the second floor, a handprint on the pillow in the lower floor, and the curtains to the lower floor window were open.”

However, when the housekeeper went to check the security footage to identify the culprits, “she noticed that the recording box was missing and connecting wires were cut.”

But, according to Miguel, that wasn’t the only thing taken from the home. She said when she arrived, she confirmed at least $820,000 in jewelry and cash was lifted from the L.A. mansion.

Since the house is currently on the market, Miguel believed the thieves prepared their break-in at a recent open house by unlocking the windows in order to get in at a later date. However, Miguel said she contacted the realtor to get a list of people who have been in the home for the scheduled open house tours.
