Vanessa Bryant launched “Mambacita” jewelry on Mamba Day, officially recognized in Los Angeles as August 24.
On Wednesday, Bryant posted the new launch on her Instagram page. The new collaboration is with Zoë Chicco Fine Jewelry.
This week, Bryant also won her lawsuit against Los Angeles County involving sheriff deputies taking graphic pictures at Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s helicopter crash site and seven other victims. Vanessa was awarded $16 million, which she will be donating all proceeds to the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation, and Chris Chester, who lost his wife and 13-year-old daughter in the horrific crash, was also awarded $15 million.
In addition to donating the $16 million to the charity, Bryant also donated all proceeds from the jewelry line to the foundation.
“In honor of Mamba Day on 8•24, I partnered with Vanessa Bryant to design a very personal, limited-edition collection of 14k fine jewelry. The MAMBACITA x ZC collection is hand-crafted in 14k gold and diamonds in my downtown Los Angeles studio. ”
According to another post, the owner of the jewelry shop and Kobe Bryant went to the same high school, so the collaboration with Vanessa was special.
The post reads, “I wanted to share a bit about my personal connection to this meaningful capsule collection. Kobe Bryant and I both went to Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania (although not at the same time). I know firsthand what he means to the community where I grew up — his legacy is immeasurable.”
