Vanessa Bryant has been ordered to give Los Angeles County her therapy records.
This past Monday, a federal magistrate judge granted a motion made by L.A. County, ordering Bryant to turn over her therapy records.
After the tragic helicopter crash that killed former NBA star and businessman Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Giana Bryant, officers employed by L.A. County allegedly shared photos of Kobe and Gigi’s lifeless bodies. Bryant later filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles County, claiming she experienced severe emotional distress and an increased level of trauma after the photos were distributed.
The suit says some of the images were even shared with a bartender, NBC News reports. The news outlet goes on to report that L.A. County’s outside counsel says the motion is normal in cases that claim damages from emotional distress.
L.A. County previously tried to have Bryant take a psychiatric evaluation as part of the lawsuit. However, the judge denied that request.
