Vanessa Bryant and her children visited the Kobe Bryant Hall of Fame exhibit ahead of his induction on Saturday.
The stand-alone exhibit designed by Vanessa is called “Kobe: A Basketball Life” and is located in Springfield. The tribute features stunning Kobe Bryant memorabilia, including a piece of the Lower Merion H.S. basketball court, the shoes he wore in his 81-point game, game-worn jerseys, and a video screen showing his Oscar-winning short film, “Dear Basketball.” The display is the first of its kind since Michael Jordan’s 2009 exhibit.
Vanessa posted photos to her Instagram of the remarkable presentation honoring her late husband. In one of them, their 4-year-old daughter Bianka poses in front of her father’s Lakers jerseys. In another, 1-year-old Capri smiles in front of a game photo of Kobe.
On Saturday, Kobe Bryant will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with friend Michael Jordan presenting the honor. Vanessa will make a speech during the ceremony, which is sure to be an emotional moment.
The ceremony will kick off on Saturday at 2:30 PM. In addition to Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
