Cardi B won’t be facing any charges after throwing a mic at a fan in a crowd.
The rapper’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, told TMZ Thursday the Vegas Police Department dropped their investigation.
“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter,” the statement read.
Cardi made headlines after her performance at Drai’s Beachclub last Saturday. While on stage, Cardi B requested the crowd to cool her down in the scorching Vegas heat by splashing water on her. However, when an individual threw a cup containing an unknown liquid and ice, she reacted by throwing the mic at that person. Unfortunately, the mic ricocheted and unintentionally hit another individual in the crowd, prompting them to file a police report.
“I said splash my p—y, not my face bitch,” she proclaimed following the incident.
The infamous mic has now reportedly gone up for auction by the audio company, with the bids having hit $100,000.
