A Vegas strip club has shut down an audition after more than 1,000 women signed up for it.
Last Wednesday, a fire marshal had to shut down an audition for a soon-to-open Vegas strip club called Club Ice after way too many women showed up to try out. The auditions were held at Blume Lounge in Henderson, Nevada, Daily Mail reports.
Strip club workers over the audition said they feared an incident similar to the tragic Astroworld deaths would take place. “This motherf***** too packed, y’all gotta back up. Y’all seen that s*** happen with Travis Scott the other night, y’all better pack up,” yelled one of the hosts at the club at a certain point.
Their flyer for the audition reportedly stated: “ABSOLUTELY FREE TO WALK IN THE DOOR TO APPLY . WE ARE WELCOMING THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL TO COME & WATCH THE AUDITIONS OF THE DANCERS.”
Images and video footage show tons of people partying and throwing money. Other footage shows a man instructing people to back away from the stage. “Y’all not gonna be suing me, talking about ‘I let y’all do this s***,” said the man at the Club Ice tryouts.
Officials from the Nevada Fire Marshal did shut the audition down, but some folks did meet the requirements to be hired at the club, TMZ reports.
