It looks like Vic Mensa is having a tough time adjusting from his luxurious vacation to Africa. U.S. Customs Agents are holding Mensa in custody following his return with an alleged stash of mushrooms.
After returning from his Ghana trip on Saturday night at Dulles International Airport outside of D.C, the agents searched him twice and allegedly found shrooms.
He was in Ghana with his good friend and rapper Chance the Rapper. Both artists had been on a tourism tour encouraging tourism in Africa.
Mensa was booked for felony narcotics possession. However, shrooms are registered as a Schedule I substance under federal law. In some states, the drug is decriminalized, and others are pushing to legalize it.
The Chicago artist has not commented on the arrest yet.
