Video Emerges Of Sterling Brown After Bloody Attack That Occurred At Miami’s Booby Trap

If you don’t like blood, this video might not be for you. Graphic footage has circulated from an attack that left Rockets star Sterling Brown bloody.

According to the New York Post, Brown was assaulted outside Miami’s Booby Trap strip club on April 18. He suffered facial lacerations but is expected to make a full recovery.

Brown was jumped by multiple people and was allegedly hit on the head with a bottle and had to receive medical attention at the Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police body-cam footage taken following the attack shows the 26-year-old guard holding his shirt on his head while covered in blood down to his waits. He can also be seen limping in the video.

The video also captured Brown’s teammate, Kevin Porter, Jr., going back and forth with responding officers.

According to Fox Sports radio host Andy Slater, police have launched an internal investigation into the interaction between the officers with the two men.

The police report obtained by The Athletic did not list Porter Jr. However, purportedly Porter, Jr. tried to help Brown and remove him from the situation. He was also “roughed up” by the attackers, which resulted from an argument over an apparent mix-up in vehicles when the two parties were leaving the club, sources reported.

Brown accidentally got into the wrong sprinter van, the outlet reported.

Stephen Silas, the Houston Rockets head coach said on April 21, “Sterling is here in Houston and recovering.”

The NBA is looking into the matter.
