Video has surfaced of a brazen robbery that took place last month at a Louis Vuitton store in a high-end mall in White Plains, New York.
The video, posted to TikTok by user @mcloud.9, shows two thieves attempting to walk out with merchandise from the packed store while a mall security guard looks on. The first suspect picks up a couple of handbags and calmly walks out.

By that time, the people in the store were aware of what was transpiring and attempted to stop the second thief. The suspect eventually left the store with stolen goods.
“The crime depicted in this video is unacceptable, and we are fully cooperating with the White Plains Police Department in their investigation,” a spokesperson for The Westchester mall said in a statement to the New York Post.
“We have taken a number of additional steps to further enhance the security program at The Westchester, including adding White Plains police officers to patrol the property, increasing additional private security patrol, deploying specially trained K-9 patrols, among other measures.”
Burberry was also recently targeted by thieves. Video of that robbery shows two men fleeing the store with an armful of stolen merchandise.

The White Plains Police Department said that both incidents are under investigation. So far, none of the thieves have been arrested.
