The MTV Video Music Awards is Heading Back to NYC This Year

The VMAs is making its official return to New York City this year, airing live September 12th from the Barclays Center!

The coveted 2021 award show will feature performances from some of biggest names in music and will safely bring fans together from across the globe to celebrate the return of live entertainment. This year’s show will air across MTV’s global footprint of linear and digital platforms in more than 175 countries and territories.

Prior to the show and in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, MTV is partnering with 9/11 Day for a series of service-oriented activities during the week leading up to the VMAs that honor the victims and first responders.
