Wack100 hopped on a recent chat with DJ Akademiks, where he addressed the circulating rumors about Drake allegedly sending him a cease-and-desist. The gossip had been making the rounds online, but Wack was quick to debunk the claims, saying the whole thing stemmed from a misinterpretation. The conversation, which was shared by Akademiks TV on Twitter, featured Wack breaking it all down and admitting he was simply reading a tweet during a Clubhouse session, not reporting any inside info.
In the video, Wack can be heard explaining how the misunderstanding began. “I didn’t see no cease-and-desist. I didn’t do none of that,” he clarifies. He further elaborates, “If Drake had actually sent a cease-and-desist, you’d see it everywhere.” Wack went on to explain that during his morning Clubhouse show, which airs daily at 11 a.m. PST, he was just reacting to a clip he had seen, not confirming any official action from Drake’s camp.
Wack makes it clear he doesn’t even represent Drake in any capacity. “I don’t represent Kendrick or Drake in business, so I would’ve known if something like that happened,” he pointed out, emphasizing that he simply read a clip and that things spiraled from there. Wack added that it was strange how quickly people took the rumor and ran with it.
After the chat, DJ Akademiks retweeted the video from his own account, with the caption, “The lies way more amplified than the truth these days,” summing up how quickly misinformation spreads online.

This conversation should put the rumors to rest—there was no cease-and-desist from Drake. Just a case of the internet doing what it does best, amplifying the drama over the facts.
