Kayo Redd, up and coming Atlanta rapper and younger brother to Waka Flocka Flame, was found dead due to a self inflicted gun shot wound, police say. Waka Flocka broke the news on Twitter last night, “God Please Bless Me” he tweeted, followed by “Ya Big Brother love you Kayo.”
Hours before his death, Kayo was promoting his newly released Red Kisses mixtape on Twitter. Kayo was also mourning the anniversary of good friend & fellow rapper, Slim Dunkin’s death. Slim Dunkin was killed at an Atlanta studio in December of 2011.
Mom, Debra Antney, took to her Twitter to send out a message. “I just lost another son,” she tweeted. Deb also had a son who died in a car accident when Waka was 13 years old.
