Rapper Wale is putting an end to a persistent rumor that music mogul Diddy once dangled him over a balcony.

During a recent appearance on “The Morning Hustle,” the former MMG artist firmly denied the long-standing claim, which first surfaced in 2023.
“No, I never got in an altercation with them. I’ve never been in an altercation with nobody in the industry. I’ve had close calls, but not him. Definitely. It was made up by somebody who was just trolling and it just went,” Wale said.
The rumor originally spread after a blogger alleged that Wale and Cassie were in a studio session when Diddy unexpectedly arrived and, along with his crew, hung Wale over a balcony by his feet. Wale’s team quickly denied the story at the time, but it has continued to circulate online.
“That’s preposterous, man,” Wale added, dismissing the claim entirely.
While Wale is denying that he was attacked by Diddy, Kid Cudi shockingly confirmed that the Bad Boy founder set his car on fire due to his alleged affiliation with Cassie.
Diddy is currently facing charges related to sex trafficking and other serious allegations.
