Artist commonly voice their frustrations about their management team or their record labels. But once again, Wale is giving us his opinion on his team, and he isn’t too happy.
Wale was in the midst of preparing for an upcoming tour after the release of his follow-up album Folarin ll last month. However, it seems like Wale’s team isn’t up to speed in the news after they delayed the announcement of the tour.
The rapper took to Twitter to speak about his situation. Wale starts his rants by saying how he’s been silent about what’s been going on behind the scenes. Wale explains how the announcement for his tour will be pushed back because of the artwork.
“Not gon lie I been super quiet about things goin on behind the scenes.. but I’m at a wall. They just told me it’d take a ‘week to have different artwork to announce my tour,'” he tweeted.
He then ended his tweets, saying anyone who’s been around knows the terrible things that go on behind the scenes. Wale seemingly hints that he will soon reveal all that has been going and will explain everything.
“But anybody who has been paying attention knows things behind the scenes have been terrible for months. I can’t wait to fully explain everything,” Wale said.
In the past, Wale has been very vocal about his team. In the summer of 2020, he tweeted about being blackballed and how his team was doing the “bare minimum” when it came to his career.
