According to TMZ, concert promoter Upfront and Personal Global, is suing Wale after he allegedly took their their money and neglected to show up for a performance in NYC over the summer. Â The promoter says they paid Wale $25,000 but on the day of the concert, he was a no-show.
In Upfront and Personal Global’s lawsuit, they say they made two wire transfers at $12.5k a piece to Wale’s team. When Wale did not make the show, they say his team went radio silent when they asked for a refund.
Upfront and Personal Global is now suing for their $25,000 back, plus interest.
