Good news for Walt Disney World’s die-hard fans — the theme park giant announced that sales would resume on annual passes. New passes have not been available since the company hit pause during the pandemic.
Disney announced Thursday that sales would resume on April 20 for the Incredi-Pass, Pirate Pass, and Sorcerer Pass. Only one pass remained on sale during the pause, the Pixie Pass for Florida residents and only admits passholders on weekdays.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, sales of the passes are limited and may become available at any time.
The following tiers will be available:
Disney Pixie Dust Pass (Florida residents) – $399
- Allows entry on most weekdays but is subject to some blackout dates, including peak and holiday periods
Disney Pirate Pass (Florida residents only) – $749
- Allows the passholder entry on most days but is subject to blackout dates during peak and holiday periods
Disney Sorcerer Pass (Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club members) – $969
- Allows passholders entry on most days but is subject to blackout dates on certain days, during specific holiday periods
Disney Incredi-Pass (All guests) – $1,399
- No blackout dates apply
Sales of the Sorcerer Pass will be available a week early to Disney Vacation Club members as part of their membership benefits.
Annual passes provide many benefits, such as complimentary parking at the parks, discounts on some dining and merchandise, and admission to one of Disney’s four parks on most days. Block- dates apply and vary by tier.
Disney recently added PhotoPass downloads and access to water parks as an add-on feature.
Beginning April 18, passholders can enter the theme parks anytime after 2 p.m. without making a park reservation. The only exception is Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom, which still require parkgoers to make reservations.
Disney implemented the reservation system during the pandemic and has not lifted it for daily park ticket holders.
