A wannabe Instagram star allegedly stabbed her mother in a brutal attack, ripping out her heart, lungs, and intestines.
According to The Daily Mail, Anna Leikovic, a 21-year-old medical student from Moldova, used a kitchen knife to attack her mother, Praskovya Leikovic, 40. It is alleged that her mother initially remained alive, and that’s when her daughter cut out her heart.
Leikovic is “suspected of a terrible crime,” according to the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, which cited authorities.
“She stabbed her mother with a knife and then cut out the heart of a living woman.”
After butchering her mother, the suspect calmly took a shower and went out to meet her boyfriend.

The influencer with 9,400 followers was detained the next day. During her court appearance, which was videotaped, she can be seen lying down on the dock and cleaning her nails. When asked by a journalist if she killed her mother, she laughed and said, “Goodbye.”
The outlet reports that Leikovic’s mother came home from working in Germany and suspected her daughter was on drugs. She arranged to send her daughter to a treatment facility, which enraged Leikovic.
Leikovic’s uncle Vladimir denies his niece was put in rehab and said that Praskovya loved her daughter very much.
“It took two hours for the police to tell me Anna is the main suspect. I could not even imagine this,” he said.
Police said there are no other suspects, but the heinous crime remains under investigation to determine the motive for the gruesome murder.
