Webbie Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting & Holding Girlfriend Hostage After A Long Weekend of Doing Coke

Rapper Webbie was arrested in Baton Rouge, LA for assaulting his girlfriend in a hotel room. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The incident occurred at the Comfort Inn at around 6 am early Wednesday morning. The victim says that Webbie, real name Webster Gradney Jr., had not been sleeping at all after consuming marijuana and cocaine for two days straight. The victim says that she and Gradney got into a fight and Gradney held her against her will for over two hours, strangled her, beat her with a closed and open first, fractured her nose and left belt marks up and down her back and thighs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The victim’s name has not been released but it is said that she had been living with the rapper in Atlanta for the past 11 months. She says the two came to #Louisiana for the 4th of July holiday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to the police report, Gradney beat the victim in the head, neck, arms, legs, and back, at one point pinning her to the ground with his knees in her throat until she couldn’t breathe for several seconds. She also suffered a fractured nose that left her coughing and spitting up blood. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The “Savage Life” rapper was charged with felony aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon, felony second-degree battery, felony domestic abuse by strangulation, false imprisonment, theft (for stealing the victim’s cell phone) and simple criminal damage to property (for trashing the hotel room).
