Wells Fargo Vice President Shankar Mishra was fired for urinating on a female passenger during a flight from New York City to India in November.

India TV News obtained a complaint filed by the 72-year-old victim alleging Mishra got drunk while on the flight. At some point, he urinated on her and then “kept standing there until the person sitting next to me tapped him and told him to go back to his seat.”

According to the complaint, the Air India flight crew made 34-year-old Mishra apologize to the woman. He allegedly started crying while “profusely apologizing.” However, the woman had asked for Mishra to be arrested and for them to be seated apart.

Instead, they were made to “sit opposite each other in the crew seats.”

Mishra initially reached a monetary settlement with the woman, in addition to having her urine-soaked clothes and bag cleaned. The woman decided to return the money and move forward with a complaint through the airline.

He has since been charged with an obscene act in a public place, assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty, word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman, and misconduct in public by a drunken person. Police in New Delhi are said to be looking for Mishra, whose whereabouts are currently unknown.

Wells Fargo said in a statement that the employee had been terminated and called the allegations “deeply disturbing.” The company is cooperating with the police, who reached out to the bank with questions about Mishra. Mishra was the VP of Wells Fargo in India.
