Wendy Williams has just been ordered to pay her ex Kevin Hunter $250,000 to help him relocate to new digs now that the former couple are no more.
According to Page Six, who exclusively obtained new court documents in the case, the daytime talk show diva, 55, and her estranged husband have come to an interim financial agreement as part of their divorce proceedings.
Williams will pay Hunter $250,000 so that he can “secure new living arrangements” as Hunter needs to vacate their marital home in Livingston, New Jersey, which was put on the market over the summer.
Williams filed for divorce in April of this year after Hunter’s mistress Sharina Hudson gave birth to a baby girl.
According to Fox News, Williams made a shady reference to Hudson and her new full-time role as a mother on Wednesday, telling her audience :
“I used to say this as a joke on ‘Hot Topics’: Poke a hole in the condom and get pregnant, but that backfired on me, didn’t it?” she said, alluding to Hudson’s alleged love child. “Turnabout’s a fair game, I’m a fair game player and a straight shooter, too. Pow, pow!”
Wendy proceeded to throw serious shade, saying: “Life is not what you think it is behind the scenes, trust me. Homegirl is miserable,” she said as she rocked a pretend baby. “In the meantime, I’m over here. That’s what you get!”
In addition to their 22-year marriage, Williams and Hunter were also business partners. Hunter was an executive producer of her namesake talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” but his name has since been scrubbed from the credits.
A source close to Williams told Page Six that the former couple has been in mediation to settle their divorce and that Wendy has gone so far as to “play nice” publicly with Hunter to encourage him to sign the papers and move on.
