According to Hollywood Unlocked’s CEO Jason Lee, Wendy Williams is, in fact, a married woman again.
During their phone conversation Tuesday afternoon, Wendy spilled the tea and gave Lee several updates on her life, from finances to family, and even revealed that her new man’s name is Henry, an NYPD officer.
Wendy informed Lee that she no longer has access to her Amex account but her close friend of 14 years, Will Selby, is helping maintain it. She also told him that she is trying to stay in good spirits but has asked her team to keep her family away from her, except for her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
In response to the rumors that Wendy is married, Will Selby, who also serves as her representative, told Page Six, “That’s inaccurate. She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation.”
But early Wednesday morning, Wendy maintained that she is married and doesn’t know why her rep isn’t on the same page with her but offered a possible explanation.
“Everybody seems to have a problem with that. I’m married,” Wendy said.
She continued, “I’m married! I don’t care who knows it.” As for Will trying to discredit Lee, Wendy says, “Will sees no point in me getting married. But you know what? F*ck Will. 14 years I’ve known him. I’ve always said f*ck him… in a good way. I didn’t know what a podcast was. He put me onto the podcast.”
Lee responded, “well, if you’re comfortable with him, then cool. But he needs to watch his mouth and keep my name out of his mouth with that bullsh*t.” From there, Wendy confirmed that Will is her rep, but then Lee offered some advice saying, “well, somehow he needs to get on the same page with you ’cause clearly you talked to me, and I said what I said so…” Wendy replied, “it’s ok.”
Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter has not yet commented on the news but recently defended her and said she deserved a more significant celebration for her talk show finale.
Following the cancellation of her famous talk show, The Wendy Show, Wendy is now preparing to launch her brand-new podcast. It was uncertain when she would return, but it ended in June. Wendy, who is coping with Graves Disease and an aggravating thyroid problem, had to take many months off to concentrate on her health. Despite this, she has never been without the affection and support of those who stand by her side.
