In anticipation of the upcoming documentary “Where is Wendy Williams,” Wendy’s temporary guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has filed a sealed lawsuit against Lifetime’s parent company, A&E Television Networks.
Although the details of the lawsuit have been kept undisclosed, it appears that Morrissey is attempting to acquire a temporary restraining order as well as an order to show cause for an injunction. The exact reason for the lawsuit remains unclear at this point, but a restraining order could be used to prevent the release of the upcoming doc.
A hearing next week will decide the confidentiality of the sealed documents, with the documentary’s release possibly prompting a quick judge’s decision.
The news came shortly after it was revealed on Thursday that Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.
