Wendy Williams appeared as a guest on Conan where she was asked about her parenting style. As you know, Wendy is the mother of a 15 year old son.
During the interview Wendy explains that she both a strict mom and a loose mom. In her home, there is a strict ‘no closed doors’ policy. She then talks about the one time her son, who was 13 at the time, walked in on her and her husband getting busy.
“He got a surprise, and he will never do that again,” said Wendy. When asked to elaborate, Wendy said, “He walked in on me giving my husband a ‘favor’ at 2 o’clock in the morning. “
She goes on to talk about how they normally give warnings before entering someone’s room, like stomping loudly or clearing their throat. That way the person has time to gather themselves. On this particular evening, Wendy says her son did neither of those and when they noticed he had walked in on them, they just continued.
“The next day he was going out with some of his friends and usually we leave the house with a hug and kiss,” Wendy laughed. “He hugged me, but he wouldn’t kiss me.”
