A rare video of Wendy Williams surfaced Wednesday morning, showing the iconic talk show host taking a morning walk in Miami.
In the video obtained by Baller Alert, Williams speaks to her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., while standing on the beach. Hunter, who is behind the camera, asks his mother how she feels about people who have sent her prayers and well wishes.
“Well, thank you,” Williams says in the camera. Her son then says everyone is hoping she comes back stronger, to which the 56-year-old replied, “Uh, excuse me, I am going back stronger.”
Reports have swirled for months regarding The Wendy Williams Show host and her heath. Rumors have stated that she has been wheelchair-bound, while others claim Williams is battling dementia. Her return to the show has been postponed multiple times, with various guest hosts taking her place. Sherri Shepherd has recently been named the permanent guest host in Williams’ absence.
While she did not comment on her health issues, she did reveal “there are things that happened to me,” saying that the presumed medical concerns began at age 40.
At the end of the video, Williams says she is eager to make her return to New York and get back to work on her talk show.
No matter what she may be dealing with, it’s good to see Wendy Williams in good spirits.
