Wendy Williams says her son Kevin Hunter Jr. is the one who got the ball rolling on her tumultuous conservatorship.

Speaking from her New York City facility, Williams revealed to TMZ’s Harvey Levin that her son overstepped his boundaries.

“He was inappropriately using my money without telling me crap about it,” she revealed in “TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy,” now streaming on Tubi.

Williams questioned whether Hunter Jr. was stealing from her and is appreciative that the bank stopped the excessive spending.

“All I know is that my money got frozen at Wells Fargo. Thank God. No more money stealing from my son and the other people,” she said.

The documentary explores Williams’ conservatorship, which began in 2022 after Wells Fargo froze her accounts, citing suspicious activity. Ginalisa Monterroso, founder of Connect Care Advisory, explained, “My understanding is somebody was in her bank account, and there were large withdrawals.”

Williams believes her confinement is financially motivated.

“It’s about my money. It’s about holding my money and using it for other people and nothing for me,” she told Levin.

Despite her frustrations, Williams still has love for her son but is not happy about his alleged actions.

“My son is a really good person… But at this point, he is a horrible person to me,” she admitted.

Levin questioned Hunter Jr.’s claim that Wells Fargo mistakenly gave him $113,000 instead of $1,500 for a boat rental.

“He has a way of getting with a couple of other people,” Williams said.

Hunter Jr. previously shared that his mother was aware of him using the funds in her account for his expenses, such as his rent payments and a lavish birthday party. In recent month, he has advocated for his mother to be released to the care of her family.

Now, Williams wants her life back. “I want my freedom back,” she declared in the documentary’s trailer.
