Wendy Williams is taking a hiatus from her talk show because she is suffering from symptoms of Graves’ disease.
The TV host has been experiencing symptoms of fatigue and will be taking a break from filming The Wendy Williams Show at her home through at least this week, CNN reports.
She first announced her Graves’ disease diagnosis – which is a condition that causes the immune system to attack the thyroid – to her viewers in 2018.
“Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease, which is causing fatigue. In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment,” a spokesperson for The Wendy Williams Show said in a statement to Variety.

“We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the ‘Wendy@Home’ shows. More updates on a return date will follow,” the spokesperson added.
A return date for the show hasn’t been set yet, and reruns will air while the show is on hiatus.
