In celebration of the second season of “Wednesday,” Wendy’s has introduced a limited-time meal inspired by the Netflix series.
The Meal of Misfortune will be available starting Monday, August 4th, just ahead of the show’s return on August 6th.
The meal is wrapped in packaging modeled after the eerie style of the series. The paper bag is stamped with the phrase “There’s nothing happy about this meal” and decorated with an image resembling Wednesday Addams, complete with long black braids and a black-and-white outfit.
Inside the bag, Wendy’s regular chicken nuggets and fries are rebranded to match the show’s gothic theme.
The nuggets, now labeled “Rest in 10-Piece,” are served in black-and-gray striped cartons. The fries come in purple-and-black striped containers under the name “Cursed and Crispy,” a nod to the fictional Nevermore Academy’s school uniform colors.
Though the fries and nuggets remain unchanged in flavor, the dessert and sauces have been created specifically for the promotion.
The “Raven’s Blood” Frosty is a vanilla base swirled with dark cherry, giving it a rich and ominous appearance. Only available in a small size, it is the only menu item from the promotion that can be ordered on its own.
Accompanying the meal are the “Dips of Dread,” a set of four spicy sauces created exclusively for this release. Each customer receives two dips at random, with no labels to identify which is which, adding a layer of suspense to the meal.
Wendy’s has not confirmed when the Meal of Misfortune will be removed from the menu. Fans of the show and curious customers alike are encouraged to try it while it lasts.
