Weekend Watchlist: Must-See Sequels, Spooky Thrills, and Tyler Perry’s Latest Drama

Need something new to binge? This weekend brings back some fan-favorite shows, from scandalous televangelists to street power struggles, high-speed racing, and Tyler Perry’s latest drama. Here’s what’s worth watching.

The Righteous Gemstones – Season 4 (HBO)

The Gemstone family is back, and they’re as wild as ever. Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin are still trying to prove they can run their megachurch without completely wrecking it. But with new enemies emerging and old secrets resurfacing, things are about to get even messier. If you love dark comedy, family drama, and over-the-top chaos, this is a must-watch.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan – Season 4 (STARZ)

Kanan Stark’s journey into the streets is only getting deeper. With Raq trying to rebuild after last season’s destruction, Kanan is forced to make some major moves that will define his future. Expect plenty of drama, action, and 90s nostalgia as the battle for power continues. If you’ve been following Kanan’s story, you know this one is essential viewing.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive – Season 7 (Netflix)

If you think Formula 1 is just about racing, think again. This docuseries dives into the high-stakes world of F1, showing the rivalries, pressure, and behind-the-scenes drama that keep fans hooked. Season 7 covers all the chaos from the 2023 season, with exclusive interviews and intense footage. Even if you’re not a motorsports fan, Drive to Survive is the kind of storytelling that’ll have you hooked.

Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black – Season 1, Part 2 (Netflix)
The drama picks up right where Episode 8, Killing Karma!, left off, and things are about to get even more intense. Kimmie’s sister has been kidnapped, the Bellarie family is mourning Charles’ death, and their empire is on the line. With everything falling apart, Kimmie is ready to do whatever it takes to save her sister and get revenge. Expect high-stakes drama, shocking twists, and the kind of emotional storytelling Tyler Perry does best. If you’re a fan of family power struggles and ruthless revenge, you won’t want to miss this.
