“Cowboy Carter,” considered ACT II to Bey’s 2022 “Renaissance,” is the country-infused sister of the hit dance album. It blends elements of southern music with pop and R&B. While some see it as a bold departure from her previous work, the Houston star tiptoed into the country arena in 2016 with her single “Daddy Lessons,” featuring Dixie Chicks.
“Cowboy Carter” has been well-received, with standouts including “Texas Hold Em” and the TikTok-boosted “II Hands II Heaven.” Despite its success, there are several reasons that talks of a tour may be mere speculation. One reason is that Bey wrapped the “Renaissance Tour” in September 2023. Before that, she had not toured since the “Formation World Tour” in 2016. Therefore, going on a trek so soon after completing her last record-breaking tour wouldn’t be typical for Bey. However, anything is possible for the global icon.
If the tour talks are genuine, it will be interesting to see how much of ACT I will be apparent in this latest theme and set designs. Most importantly, how will Bey choose the perfect records from her entire catalog to give fans a live taste of “Cowboy Carter” while satisfying lovers of her older sounds? We’ve crafted a perfect setlist for the day ones and the casual listeners, bringing a little feel of every era.
Me, Myself & I
II Hands II Heaven
Find Your Way Back
Sorry
Drunk in Love
Jolene
Plastic Off The Sofa
Rather Die Young
If I Were A Boy
Spaghettii
America Has A Problem
Flawless
Alliigator Tears
While we understand this tracklist doesn’t scratch the surface of Bey’s illustrious career, it would certainly cover all bases for each type of Beyoncé fan. As of now, there are no announced plans for this new concert series. However, the Google link for her website’s tour page reads, “Las Vegas – the Beyoncé Tour – Beyoncé.” This seems to imply that the most Grammy-awarded artist of all time might be taking “Cowboy Carter” strictly to Sin City. Bey and her team remain tight-lipped, so the world will have to wait and see.
