Surprise, surprise?
White American men are the biggest terror threat in the United States, according to a study done by the New America Foundation.
After a review of “terror” attacks done on U.S. grounds since September 11, 2001, the Washington-based research organization found that the majority were works of radical, anti-government groups or white supremacists.
In addition, since Trump took office more Americans have been killed by white American men with no connection to Islam in comparison to Muslim terrorists or foreigners.
Which is ironic since Trump signed the since-revised executive order to ban Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. claiming it was to protect Americans from “radical Islamic terrorists.” However, in his last eight months of presidency more Americans have been killed by white males.
Some of the most recents incidents are as follows:
– Jeremy Joseph Christian, who this past May harassed Muslim teenagers on a train saying, “We need Americans here.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
– The 28-year-old white man from Baltimore who drove all the way to New York to kill Timothy Caughman, a 66-year-old black man.
– The white supremacist, who drove his car into a crowd of anti-racist supporters killing a woman and injuring about 19 people in Charlottesville.
And most recently, the Las Vegas shooting where Stephen Paddock opened fire on more than 22,000 people killing more than 50 and hurting over 200. And there are several more to note.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not to mention that between 2001 and 2015 more Americans have been killed by natural born right-wing extremists. White supremacy and terror attacks date decades back. In all mass shootings that have taken place in history and under Trump’s presidency the shooter is more likely to be a white U.S. citizen.
