White Claw is growing with an all-new line of flavored vodka, just in time for those summertime pool parties.
The adult beverage company known primarily for its spiked seltzers has expanded with its slightly sweet spirit known as White Claw Premium Vodka. Each bottle contains 30% to 40% alcohol by volume, according to CNBC. What makes this vodka so different from others on the market is its filtration method.
White Claw created the “Triple Wave Filtered” process because the beverage is initially distilled with charred coconut shells before being filtered three times, with the strength of “three 30-foot waves.” On Tuesday, the company announced that they’d finally put their innovative process to the test making regular and flavored White Claw Premium Vodka available at grocers nationwide. The inaugural flavors are pineapple, black cherry, and mango. Of course, there is always the option to keep your mixed drink simple with an unflavored White Claw Premium offering.
The White Claw brand’s parent company, Mark Anthony Group, said it had taken them nearly ten years to develop the perfect vodka. In that time, the hard seltzers have seen a decrease in popularity, despite a boost during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Pre-mixed cocktail drinks have shown a rise in popularity, a direct competitor of seltzers, causing many consumers to give them the boot. So it seems that the vodka arrived right on time.
In addition to the vodka, White Claw announced Vodka Sodas. This already-blended mix is available in peach, pineapple, watermelon, and wild cherry. The White Claw Vodka will be included in the Sodas.
