Who Is Basketball Wives LA’s Brooke Bailey?

The season premiere of Basketball Wives LA is premiering onMonday, September 10th on VH1 and with two new cast mates, It was only right that we brought you up to speed on who these young ladies were. Here are some things I’ve gathered around the web. I can’t guarantee the validity of what other blogs have posted but maybe one day we can interview Brooke herself and really get to know her.

Brooke Bailey is originally from Los Angeles, CA, and fell into the business a few years ago in a rather interesting manner.

 

“It started when casting director Anissa Williams saw me on the dance floor at a party and gave me her business card, Brooke recalls. “That was on a Friday and I started shooting my first music video that Monday with Beanie man featuring Janet Jackson. It was great. It was a three-day shoot and I had a blast after that. I made up my mind that this is what I’m destined to do.”

 

After a few music videos she was one of the first to cast for the show MTV Punk’d. Brooke has featured in a V.S.O.P commercial with Snoop Dogg and the Bishop. She’s also graced the stage of the 2006 B.E.T. awards with Busta Rhymes as one of his Touch me girls for his hit song.
Tireless Brooke was featured on the cover of Lowrider magazine with Ice Cube, The Girls Of Lowrider After Dark and there was a juicy layout in Smooth Girl magazine. “You will be seeing more of me in Lowrider so please keep your eyes open,” Brooke says. “I am currently signed with celebritymodelsbooking.com and titaniumgirlz.com. I have a wonderful manager—his name is Van Silk. I am currently hosting parties and getting ready to shoot for an upcoming DVD titianumgirlz volume 2.”

What Qualifies Brooke For Basketball Wives – Sister 2 Sister Magazine

Brooke’s most notable claim to fame is her stint on E’s “Candy Girls” reality show, but fellas might remember her from Lil Wayne’s music video for “Lollipop.”

 

However, it’s her affiliation with NBA baller Rashard Lewis that likely qualifies her to co-star on “Basketball Wives: L.A.”

 

Back in 2010, Brooke was accused of coming between Rashard and his girlfriend, who was pregnant with his child at the time.  While Rashard may have been discreet about his dealings with Brooke, she’s said to have been quite overt, sitting on the sidelines at games to root for her man.

Brooke Snagged A Baller? – Bossip

BOSSIP Sources swore to us that they know for a fact Rashard is VERY engaged to his pregnant fiancée Giovanni Fortes. Fortes is due to give birth to their first son in July and the couple (OF SEVEN YEARS!!!!) already has a two-year-old daughter.

 

BOSSIP did a little digging and discovered Lewis and Fortes are quite publicly a couple, even donating a “Sweet Lew Tree” together as a couple for a special December NBA charity event.

 

Unfortunately, Brooke Bailey is fully aware of Rashard’s “situation” with Giovanni Fortes and claims that she is fat and ugly and that Rashard will definitely leave her so the two can be together. Our source also states that the NBA baller is paying this girl’s bills and engaging in unprotected sex with her as well despite the rumors that she has one of those STDs that does not go away.

Damn, this sounds like a big ole mess!!!! SMH.
