Whoopi Goldberg had a few things to say when it came to the Supreme Court of the United States arguments about a Mississippi law.
On Thursday’s episode of ‘The View,’ Whoopi reacted to SCOTUS’s plan to overturn the Roe v. Wade case. This court case, in particular, was put into place to allow legal abortions. However, the state of Mississippi is trying to prohibit abortions after 15 weeks.
Whoopi wasn’t feeling the entire debate but was especially not here for Justice Samuel Alito’s comment. Samuel made a statement saying, “the fetus has an interest in having a life.”
“Do any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus? How dare you talk about what a fetus wants,” Whoopi says.
Goldberg then says she is “fine” with someone who disagrees with having abortions but has a problem with being told what to do.
”Now I’m fine if you disagree with abortion, I have no problem with that. My problem comes when you tell me what I need to do with my doctor and my family. How dare you! How dare you!,” Goldberg adds.
