Will and Jada’s World Tour Series Lands $200 Million Sponsor

Will and Jada are both superstars in their own right, but the dynamics of their union together make them a force to be reckoned with. In a recent business venture, the power couple partnered their entertainment company, Westbrook Inc., along with Apollo World Touring, to launch a live event world tour. The tour will feature A-list artists, celebrities, and DJ’s with hopes of increasing awareness around environmental issues.

AgBioEn is a renewable energy and fuel company in Australia who partnered with the Smith’s to offer up a five-year sponsorship for the tour worth $200 million. In a press release, AgBioEn’s chairman Charles Hunting said, “This is the power of entertainment coming together with the power of innovation to help transform the world.” He continued, “We want to shine a light on the powerful innovations that can deliver huge benefits — both socially and environmentally — as we transition to a climate-friendly future. This partnership will help us build momentum around the deployment of these technologies, which is an urgent priority if the global economy is to get on track for a net carbon zero future.”

The tour begins March 14th in Melbourne, Australia, featuring International star, Robbie Williams. Dates have been added around the world, including the major cities of Montreal, Berlin, Milan, Seoul, Taipei, Osaka, and Miami, with additional acts being announced in the upcoming weeks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Their collective efforts to promote change for the environment is soon becoming part of the Smith family legacy. In 2015, Will and Jada’s son, Jaden Smith, launched JUST Water, which sells responsibly sourced water in a carton made from renewable resources. He also started a non-profit organization called 501cthree.org, which donates water filtration boxes to Flint, Michigan, to aide in the water crisis affecting the citizens there.
