After the overwhelming success of “Girls Trip” and “Straight Outta Compton,” WillPacker is taking his talents to the small screen to spearhead a new reality dating show for #OprahWinfrey’s OWN Network.
“If I feel like there is a story to tell…I am able to produce it around multiple mediums. So this is my first foray into an unscripted show,” the powerhouse producer told Page Six of his new venture.
The series, titled “Ready to Love,” will be based in Atlanta and hosted by Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, but according to Packer, it will not be ratchet reality television.
“This is the Oprah Winfrey network, so this is not ractchet reality tv,” he said. “But make no mistake, there will be drama…that makes for good TV.”
According to Page Six, the show is set to debut on Tuesday. Will you be tuning in?
