Will Smith Is The Top Actor On Social Media, Gabrielle Union And Kevin Hart In The Top 5

The Hollywood Reporter has a Top Actors chart, which ranks the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. According to reports, the chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers.

Each week, the charts change. But this week Will Smith went from number nine to number one, thanks to a photo of a Bel-Air car he found in Cuba, referencing his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air on November 20th. The post received 2.6 million likes and bumped his stats right up the chart.

Kevin Hart took a slight fall from social media grace, dropping from two to three this week. Gabrielle Union remained at number four for another week after the arrival of her and Dwayne Wade’s daughter, Kaavia James.

Also on the list at number ten is Mrs. Jada Pinkett-Smith, of course, thanks in part to her remarkable Facebook series #RedTableTalk.
