One of the three men charged in the murder of the unarmed black jogger, Ahmaud Arbery, is also the subject of a child molestation investigation, reports the New York Post.
The Glynn County Police Department requested that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation launched a sex crime probe after allegations were made against “Roddie” Bryan, First Coast News reported earlier this week.
The news outlet obtained a fact sheet of the investigation which lists the case against Bryan—”child abuse/molestation,” and mentions the incident took place in Camden County and involves a white female.
Along with Greg McMichael and Travis McMichael, Bryan has been charged with malice and felony murder for the death of Ahmaud Arbery. During a bail hearing earlier this month, prosecutors addressed his sex crime charges but did not go into detail.
The case is ongoing, therefore the GBI is unable to release any additional documents or details.
