As if Wingstop was not already a leader in the chicken business, the wildly successful franchise has just unveiled an elite lineup of chicken sandwiches.Â
On Tuesday, the poultry phenomenon shared a photo of the delectable-looking sandwiches on Instagram. Unlike their competitors’ offerings, Wingstop went above and beyond the typical spicy or regular chicken sandwich selections. Instead, the company used each of its 12 wing sauces to smother breaded chicken patties. Placed on a warm bun and topped with pickles, customers can choose to have their sandwich in Hot Honey Rub, Spicy Korean, Garlic Parmesan, Atomic, Louisiana Rub, Hawaiian, Mango Habanero, Mild, Cajun, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Original Hot, or the flavor that became a national treasure thanks to Rick Ross, Lemon Pepper.
Ricky Rozay, a proud owner of several Wingstop locations, also shared the news on his Instagram, referring to the sandwich as “The Biggest.”Â

“The nationwide launch of the Wingstop Chicken Sandwich is an opportunity to bring new guests to the brand by proving our position as The Flavor Experts and reward our existing fanbase by putting menu innovation on center stage,” Wingstop’s chief revenue and technology officer, Stacy Peterson said in a statement, according to USA Today.
Wingstop is the latest food chain to enter the chicken sandwich arena, preparing to go against the famed Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, launched in 2019, and other fast food chains that have joined the chicken sandwich conflict. However, by giving customers a variety of flavors to choose from, Wingstop has gained an advantage, which is something that their rivals should take note of.Â
Buyers can enjoy the new dish by itself for $5.49 or in a combo with a side of fries and a drink for $7.99 at Wingstop restaurants nationwide. Head over to Wingstop.com to see if the location nearest you has the chicken sandwiches on their menus.Â
