Winter Ramos Talks Maino, What Ballers Look For In Girls & The Most Expensive Thing She’s Gotten From A Baller

Here’s part 2 of my interview with Winter Ramos. In this segment she talks about leaving Lore’l in her book, the most expensive thing she’s gotten from a Baller and Maino actually wanting an entire chapter dedicated to him.

Here’s another quick excerpt from the book. This one involves The Game and Jadakiss in Puerto Rico:

“We ended up chilling in his room and talking. As we spoke, he kept saying I was ghetto. He  said  that  I  was  so  ghetto  he  couldn’t  understand  chicks  like  me. That was strange. He was supposed  to be from Compton. How much more hood  was  anything  than  that?  But  yet  he  didn’t act  like  it. Honestly, he was  kind  of  corny.  He wasn’t  what  I was used to. Maybe because he was from California, clear across the country from me. Anyway, we drank and smoked as time passed by with him cracking silly jokes. Before I knew it, I was wasted. Not totally wasted but I was getting there. The combination of good weed and wine had done a number on me. But through it all, my mind kept wondering about Jason. I was wondering if he’d  made  it  back  to  the  room  yet….Jason wasn’t there and hadn’t  been  there. I  got  mad. What  kind  of  business  could  he  be handling that would keep him gone all night?

Immediately, I jumped to conclusions and figured he was with  another b*tch,  although  he’d never played  me  like  that  before. Out  of  spite, I returned  to  Game’s  room.  When  Game opened the door he was dripping wet and dressed in just his boxers. His body was tight, and he was tatted up all over. He shut the door and I followed him out to the Jacuzzi. Game hopped in and with no shame, pulled me in with him. The moment seemed weird. There weren’t many times where I was with someone who just chilled in a situation like that. Eventually we just talked, with the jets shooting out pressure all around us; my body leaned back against his chest. They say everything happens for a reason…enough said. I have nothing but the deepest respect for The Game.”

On The Most Expensive Item A Baller Has Gotten Her

“I wouldn’t say the most expensive “item”, but I would say being moved to Miami from New York. Being put up in Miami, moved in and changing my life. Not a rapper, a Basketball Player.”

On Seriously Dating Industry Men

“You meet a guy when he’s not famous and he’s not popular and then you guys date and as time goes by he becomes a bigger artist, his head gets bigger. When his head gets bigger do you want to keep up with that, do you want to deal with that or do you now want to fall back? It takes a certain type of woman to be able to put up and deal with that type of stuff and have children with these guys, marry these guys and be in serious, committed relationships. I tried it and I had to come to the realization that I’m not her. I can’t be that girl. I’m the type of chick that when you’re on the road, if I can’t get on that tour bus with ya’ll and travel across the country this relationship is not going to work. You’re not going to leave me at home alone while you travel the world. We can share a hotel room, it’s nothing for you to book me a flight with you. I can get on the bus with you.  It’s not a trust thing, I just don’t want that separation. Who wants to be in a relationship with someone who’s gone six months out of the year?”

On Her Decision To Include Lore’l In Her Book

“She came into play when I was with someone and in the midst of being with him, him and I were having problems and issues. She came around and she needed help with her career. I was ready to just end this relationship with this guy but I said, ‘You know what? How about I stay with him, we work it out, and we just use his money to help fund your music career?’ So, that’s how that came about and in the midst of me putting my issues with him to the side to help her with her career she was doing a lot of stuff that for me was like ‘enough is enough’. What I wrote in that chapter is basically what happened when her and I stopped speaking. Lore’l and I hadn’t spoken for a year prior to filming. So, that chapter was basically what happened when that friendship ended. I was over it, I was done. I didn’t have anything else to give her. I didn’t have anything else emotionally, financially, I just couldn’t give anything else.”

Winter also goes on to say that although during Love & Hip Hop she agreed to remove Lore’l from the book, Lore’l kept “talking” which caused Winter to put her right back in. You can hear that in the entire interview below.
