Wiz Khalifa Arrested For Having Weed In El Paso Airport

My suspicions were correct, Wiz Khalifa was indeed in El Paso when he was popped for weed possession, something that seems to be a rights of passage for rappers when they visit Texas.

The 26 year old Pittsburgh native was flying from El Paso to Dallas when TSA officials discovered he had marijuana on him. Wiz was taken into custody where cops discovered he had 0.5 grams of weed on him. Had Wiz not been in the airport, his possession charge would be a simple Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days imprisonment and a fine not to exceed $2,000.  Likely just a fine. Him being caught at the airport by TSA officials may change things.

Last June, 2 Chainz was charged with felony drug possession for having less than an ounce of marijuana and promethazine in his checked luggage. We’ll see what charges are brought up as the story unfolds.
