Wiz Khalifa and his mom, OG Peachie, share a unique bond – so much so that they even visit strip clubs together.
The Taylor Gang rapper appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Friday (May 17), reflecting on the recent Mother’s Day holiday. For Peachie, he says, every day is a holiday.
“Mother’s Day is every day for my mom,” he explained. “Peachie’s a superstar. If you meet her, you’ll fall in love with her. So every day is her day. Me and my mom do everything together. We go to the strip club together, we went to Mexico. We went to Coachella together. We do everything. That’s my dog.”
On the music front, Wiz Khalifa is gearing up for the release of the long-awaited follow-up to his breakout mixtape, Kush & Orange Juice. Last month, he made a bold promise about the sequel in a post on Twitter/X: “Kush and Orange Juice 2 is a classic. Can’t wait for y’all to enjoy.”
Released in 2010, **Kush & Orange Juice** helped solidify Wiz’s entry into the Hip Hop scene, building a loyal fan base around his blend of marijuana culture and laid-back music. The project also proved pivotal in forging long-lasting relationships with industry peers like Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T., leading to touring and new collaborations.
On the 10th anniversary of Kush & OJ, K.R.I.T. reflected on the underground success of their song “Glass House” and its impact. “2010, SXSW. It happened so organically and then Wiz reached out like, ‘Yo, I wanna put this on Kush & Orange Juice,’ and that was my first introduction to a lot of his fan base,” K.R.I.T. shared. “It’s been crazy since then — between going on tour and performing it every time we hit the stage together. That’s what timeless music is all about.”
