Woah Vicky sparked panic online this weekend after fabricating a fake abduction story.

On Sunday, a tweet was sent from her Twitter account stating, “I have kidnapped Vicky. She is with me in Nigeria. I am demanding $1 million for her release.”
The message quickly spread online, with many people questioning what had happened. Vicky had previously shared several images from her trip to Lagos, which made the story seem believable at first. However, as the situation escalated, with several outlets picking up the story, Vicky eventually revealed the truth in a video alongside a friend.
“It’s a joke. We good, we good. Everything good. Sorry about that,” she stated in the clip at the urging of the man.
She deleted the inflammatory tweet and instead posted a series of images with an unknown male, both dressed in traditional garb. It’s unclear whether the pair are dating, but it appears the controversial influencer was looking for a viral moment, one way or another.
