A woman with “sticky fingers” may have learned her lesson.

63-year-old Kim Richardson from Dallas, Texas, has been sentenced to 54 months in federal prison after being caught for stealing millions of dollars of goods to sell on eBay.

An investigation by the FBI and Secret Service uncovered her scheme that has gone on for 19-years. Richardson has agreed to pay over $3 million in restitution after admitting to authorities that she had participated in the conspiracy from August 2000 through April 2019, CNN reports.

According to the United States Department of Justice website, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen handed down her sentence, including three years of supervised probation upon her release.

Richardson also admitted that as part of her part in the multi-million-dollar interstate theft ring that involved the stolen merchandise sole on eBay, she stole items from stores as she traveled across the United States. From there, she would sell the stolen goods on eBay through a direct internet sale before shipping them off via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

Richardson stole from various retail stores by using shoplifting tools to remove security tags and taking the items from the store by placing it in a large black bag she carried. She was an accomplice to the sale, packaging, and mailing of the items as well.

Authorities also discovered that she roughly $3.8 million throughout the 19-year ordeal via her four Pay Pal accounts linked to her name.

As for now, she remains out on bond while she awaits the date to surrender to a U.S. Bureau of Prison facility.

19 years was a good run.
