A woman drove through a COVID-19 vaccination site in Tennessee located in a tent set up to help get residents in the community inoculated.
Sheriff deputies who were working at the site saw the woman who was driving an SUV speeding towards them and yelling “No Vaccine!” as she plowed through the tent.
Authorities said the woman, Virginia Christine Lewis Brown, decided to protest the vaccination site by driving her Chrysler Pacifica “at a high rate of speed” through the tent located in a mall parking lot.
The 36-year-old woman was arrested for “placing the lives of seven workers in danger,” the Blount County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday.
Brown has been charged with seven counts of felony reckless endangerment, and each count carries penalties that include a possible prison sentence of 1 to 15 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
