On Friday, a Texas woman called the police to complain about the wait time at a local McDonalds.
According to PEOPLE, the customer grew irritated when the workers took too long to give her her chicken nuggets. After waiting, she demanded her order to be free for her troubles. When the employees declined, she proceeded to cause a scene in the drive-thru.
An employee at the Waco location called the police to report the incident, as the woman refused to leave the drive-thru without. When the officers arrived, they noticed the woman had been calling the police herself to complain about the service.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton discussed the situation on Monday via Facebook.
“Yes it happens!! We actually had the chicken nugget call last night! Officers called to a restaurant drive-thru because a customer was mad her nuggets didn’t get cooked quick enough and why she couldn’t get them for free,” Swanton wrote.
“Yes we went on this call. No…she did not get them for free. Yes we actually tied up two officers on this call. Waco PD, where life is never normal. #MakeMyNuggets.”
According to reports, the restaurant refunded the irate woman her money and officials made her leave the scene without the nuggets.
